Introduction
The mPass MFA is an OATH compliant comprehensive solution for enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for enterprise applications such as VPN Systems, Outlook Web Access, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Windows/Linux systems or any internally developed applications. mPass MFA enables strong authentication via OATH based One Time Passwords (OTP) via SMS and Mobile apps.
Components
mPass MFA is composed of two main components: 1- Server integration and customization and 2- End user login device.
- Server Integration: IT personnel need to configure the services that users have access to. In other words, they need to connect all servers that require a login to mPass. This will turn all login pages into MFA. Users will need to use an OTP in addition to their login credentials to login.
- End user login device: End users will need an OTP in addition to their credentials to login. Said OTP can be sent by SMS or mobile app.
