Masking P-Series

Masking P-Series


Following are the steps to configure or create masking 

  • MASKING_TYPE  

  • MASKING_MESSAGE  

  

  

  1. MASKING_TYPE  

This type of masking contains the special regex expression that will apply later MASKING_MESSAGE. The below screen will present special mask value (regex), mask name, and type of MASKING_TYPE.  

Note: below regex will mark number between 4-8 numeric

  1. MASKING_MESSAGE  

  

This type of masking will apply masking on different type of application I’d’s (Bulk,Default….. all application I’d’s are coming from Enumeration screen).  

  

 

 

Enter the required detail e.g Mask Type=MESSAGE_MASKING, APPLICATION= Select it from DropDown, Select Mask Format (which you have created in step 1.)

Finally, your Mask Type & Mask Messaging will show like in below screen.

In above step 2, I had selected Application I’d (Default). You can send SMS from compose screen with the 4-digit numeric in the message. Verify it from Report module to see that your message has changing because of masking.
